Georgia Annwell worked decades before becoming a full-time artist. Her various occupations included those of farmer, construction worker, nursing instructor, karate instructor, and architectural renderer. During earlier years Georgia drew, painted, and studied art on the side. Now she draws and/or paints every day and still studies art on the side. Georgia draws upon her rich background for images she incorporates into her paintings of people, other animals, and social commentary. She creates images to which people can relate fairly easily. And she infuses her works with bits of whimsy and humor. Ms Annwell has advanced degrees in more than one area. Her art related education includes:
